George Lin

A member of CASA since April 2000, George's enthusiasm for CASA's events is evident by the fact that he has been commuting from Orange County for the better part of the last 3 years to its events. His favorite services include the Kids Fair and the Senior Health Fair. As the VP of Membership, George coordinates the efforts to recruit and retain CASA volunteers. His alter ego is that of a mild-mannered Oracle Consultant.

As a first generation immigrant from Taiwan, George's motivation to give back to the chinese community is personal. "I know how easy it is for those of us who are less fortunate in the Asian community to fall between the cracks. Many times, we don't have the inclination to ask for help. However, if the more fortunate ones can demonstrate that there is assistance available, then the entire community benefits."

Even though he graduated from UCLA, he still admits USC alums into CASA without much bias.
